Fertilization + Irrigation: Requires higher irrigation and fertilization than most varietals.

Color: Medium green, darker than fescues but lighter than perennial ryegrass.

Sun: Requires full sun.

Weather tolerance: Tolerates colder winters and extended snow cover.

Traffic: Excellent hardiness to foot traffic and recovers well.

Texture: Has a medium blade texture.

pH preference: Thrives in a lightly acidic to moderate pH soil.

Mowing: Mow to 2 inches, at the shortest, and never cut off more than 1/3 of the blade height at a time.
